About Rendlet

Rendlet is a small independent project run by INTELLIFIN LIMITED. It is a PDF API: you send HTML, or JSON plus a built-in template (invoice or itinerary), to POST /v1/pdf and get a PDF back in one HTTP call.

Why it exists

Many apps and AI agents need to produce a clean invoice or travel plan as a PDF without running their own headless browser. Rendlet aims to be a simple, predictable option with a free tier, hard monthly caps and no overage billing.

How it works

HTML is rendered in headless Chromium, with JavaScript disabled and only data: URIs and public https:// assets loaded.
JSON templates render without a browser, so the layout is the same on every call.
Simplified Chinese works out of the box (Noto Sans SC).
There is an OpenAPI 3.1 spec, Markdown docs and an MCP endpoint at /mcp.

Status

Rendlet is a preview service and may change. See the changelog for what changed and when.
